Handpicked terms of service

Last updated: 3 November 2026

These terms apply to the Shopify app Handpicked. Handpicked is offered by Alexander Storgaard, Irisparken 18, Ikast, Denmark ("we", "us"). The merchant who installs it is "you". You accept these terms by installing Handpicked in your Shopify store. If you don't accept them, don't install the app, or uninstall it.

1. What Handpicked does

Handpicked writes a personal marketing email for each of your subscribed customers with AI. It sends a generic newsletter to a random control group, and measures the orders both groups place in the 14 days after the email. You choose the campaign, review the emails and approve the campaign before anything is sent.

2. Plans and billing

3. Your responsibilities

4. Personal data

We process your customers' personal data on your behalf as described in our Data processing agreement, which is part of these terms. Our Privacy policy explains which data we process, why and for how long.

5. Results

Handpicked shows what your campaigns earned compared with the control group. Results depend on your store, your customers and chance. We don't promise any particular result.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep Handpicked available and correct, but we provide it "as is", without a guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or improve the app. We give notice in the app before changes that take something away you rely on, or change these terms in a way that matters to you.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows:

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as liability for gross negligence or intent.

8. Ending

You can stop using Handpicked at any time by uninstalling the app. Your store's data is then deleted as described in the privacy policy and the DPA. We may end or suspend access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, with notice where reasonable.

9. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes go to the Danish courts, unless the law of your country gives you a right to a different court.
